Taking a Break

As you may have read last week, we here at the blog are taking a break.  We have had some challenges behind the scenes, and blog owner Melanie is welcoming a new bundle of joy in mid May.

We have always been a blog that believes in family first.  We all know that "life happens" sometimes it is all good, but we also have bad/sad/tough/etc times.  So, in order for those of us, behind the scenes we need this time to get back on track in our "real" lives.

We would once again like to thank our Design Team, sponsors, and challenge participants for supporting our blog over the last few years and we hope to see each and everyone of you back at the end of summer!

We here at the Critter Sketch Challenge blog are sad to announce will be our last challenge for a while.  We aren't going away forever, but we are taking a break.  We have had a few unforeseen circumstances, plus blog owner Melanie is due to give birth to her third baby in just a couple of weeks, so we have decided that now would be a good time for all of us behind the scenes to take a little break.

We want to thank our Design Team who have given us some amazing creations, our sponsors, who have allowed us to offer such awesome prizes and of course to our followers and challenge goers...  you have all been amazing and we are very grateful for each and every one of you.

So.... with that being said.. watch at the end of summer for our return!  We will miss you!!

On to our fabulous design teams creations with this week's very versatile sketch.

Meet Rachelle...
Rachelle has only been paper crafting for 3 1/2 years.  She got started because she wanted to scrapbook her wedding photos. Soon after she discovered card making.  She says her wedding album is still not finished but she's made hundreds of cards!  She sells her cards to family and friends and also to a local boutique. Besides paper crafting, Rachelle enjoys sewing, golf, bowling, playing violin and riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Introducing Moira...
Moira lives in Canada with her hubby Butch,  two adopted sons, Brayden (16) & Carsyn (14) and crazy dog Molly (2.5).  She started scrapbooking five years ago, the year after her boys arrived.  While she occasionally makes cards and has just entered the world of Tim Holtz inspired tags, scrapbooking is her main focus.  Moira is also a teacher, both in the school system and at her local scrapbook store.

A little bit about Teresa...
Teresa lives in Surrey, England with her hubby, four year old twins and a daft mutt! She caught the card making bug about 5 years ago and never looked back. Teresa finds it rewarding to make things for other people.  She is also a teacher and  loves to find any opportunity to help others which usually means she will learn something new as well.

Meet Jo...

Jo is 24 years old and lives in West Yorkshire, England. She loves anything crafty, but in particular card making and knitting.  Jo studied psychology at university but now work in a craft shop, doing what she loves.
